A new 150-bed boutique hospital with advanced diagnostics and wellness services is being constructed near the airport. Spanning over 16.55 rai, the project carries a total value of 4.3 billion THB, and will offer specialties such as anti-aging, family medicine, and cardiology.
• Light Rail Transit (TRAM)
Phuket’s first rail line will soon take shape, with 24 stations spanning 58.5 km, linking Phuket International Airport to Chalong. Construction is expected to begin in 2026, backed by a 3.3 billion THB investment.
• Mueang Mai–Ko Kaeo Road
A 22.4-kilometer highway project, connecting Highway 4026 to the Kathu–Patong Expressway, is also in progress, with a budget of 22.7 billion THB. Completion is set for 2026.
• Siam Premium Outlet, Phuket
Following the success of its first outlet in Bangkok, Siam Premium Outlet is launching in Phuket by 2026. The destination will host over 300 international brands, food courts, and mixed-use spaces.
• Entertainment Complex under Thailand’s Soft Power Policy
A mega entertainment district is being planned, with Ko Lon island being a prime candidate. The proposed area will span 1,000–2,000 rai, aiming to boost both domestic and international tourism.
